Policy
"THE MISSION OF HEATHER VILLAGE - A CHRISTIAN RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, A NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATION, IS TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE GOOD QUALITY AND WELL MAINTAINED HOUSING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS 62 YEARS AND OLDER IN A QUIET AND CARING CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT"
Below are some general policies believed to be consistent with the Heather Village mission statement and helpful in maintaining a comfortable and Christian living environment.
No soliciting by anyone without management approval.
Maximum speed limit is 10 miles per hour.
No skateboards.
A small pet animal allowed with management approval.
The maximum number of permanent occupants per unit is two persons.
Only residents signed on the Residency or Rental Agreement may occupy the units. Any guest for over 30 days in any one year period must have management approval.
Hired or family caretakers may occupy the unit of the person they are caring for with doctors recommendation and approval of the management/board.
All residents that permanently occupy a unit must be husband and wife or related as brothers and sisters or parent and child provided both are age 62 or above.
Residents are expected to use biblical restraint in maintaining proper relationships between men and women.
Alcohol and tobacco only be used responsibly in the privacy of their living unit.
Out of respect for Sunday observance please do not "move into" or "move out of" your unit on Sunday.
Community Center use is only for residents. Residents can have guests in Community Center for special occasions.
